A. M. Thimmiya Bonds With 24x7 Learning
As the chief operating officer of the company, he will be responsible for SkillBridge and AVAGMAH lines of business at 24x7 Learning.
24x7 Learning has named A. M. Thimmiya as its chief operating officer (COO). Based out of Bengaluru, Thimmiya would be working closely with Karthik KS, CEO and Anil Chhikara, president. Thimmiya will be involved in developing new growth strategies and oversee overall execution and delivery.
In particular, he will head SkillBridge - the employability enhancement programme, and AVAGMAH – the continuous learning initiative, lines of business.
The Government of Rajasthan and institutes like Noida Institute of Engineering Technology (NIET) and Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT) have chosen SkillBridge training for their students. AVGAMAH partners with institutes like Thapar University and IMT, Ghaziabad, to offer distance education programmes like PGDM and B.Tech for working professionals.
Before joining 24x7 Learning, Thimmiya served as the senior vice president and global head for channel operations and distance education at Manipal Education. There, he was instrumental for the growth and profitability of the distance education business of Sikkim Manipal University.
